I had a great time performing 3 of my vocal works with mezzo-soprano Micaëla Aldridge in Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall on Dec. 15. Kudos to Kervy Delcy for organizing the concert! I enjoyed meeting the other composers and performers and hearing the wide range of music. It was also wonderful to catch up with several New York friends before and after the concert. |
And now, on to Boston...
On Sun., Jan. 12, these 4 wonderful musicians will be performing a concert that shows off the wide range of timbral possibilities of their instruments. The lineup includes 3 of my pieces, as well as pieces by fellow Boston Conservatory alumni/students Yuseok Seol, Ryan Chao, and Jin Cho. After a season of holiday music, it will be treat to hear all of these fresh sounds!
